WHAT TO GET GET KURT DARREN FOR CHRISTMAS: A SINGING JUSTIN BIEBER DOLL

by hurricanevanessa on September 30, 2010

Inevitable.

Inevitable.

Uncomfortable?

Uncomfortable?

The marketing machine behind Justin Bieber has many ideas to keep him top of mind …while his voice breaks?

This, from Billboard: “The Bieber toy line will feature Justin Bieber Music Video Collection Singing Figures that play 30-second clips from his songs “Baby” and “One Less Lonely Girl.” The dolls are also dressed in the singer’s signature looks from those music videos, from a leather jacket and microphone to a green hoodie and guitar. ”

There is something oddly apporpriate about a Justin Bieber Ken Doll, complete, presumably with Ken’s suitably sexless anatomy, don’t you think?

Eeeuw. Uncomfortable. Let’s not explore the subject.

To continue:

“Another set of dolls, dubbed The JB Style Collection, features Bieber figurines dressed in some of his memorable “street style,” “awards style” and “red carpet style” looks.

The JB Style Collection will retail for $17.99, while the Music Video Collection will retail for $27.99. The toy line will also include a microphone that plays clips of “One Time” and “Somebody to Love” along with concert sound effects ($14.99), and plush bears dressed in hoodies, fitted caps and “Team Bieber” T-shirts ($7.99).”

And, if the dolls aren’t enough, his long awaited “autobiography” “Justin Bieber, First Step 2 Forever,” will be released in October and a 3-D Biopic in February.

Busy, busy, busy.

As I have absolutely nothing new or of interest to add on the subject of Justin Bieber, (I think I exhausted myself a few days back) I lifted 99% if this post from Billboard.

Sorry.
