… because young men toting machine guns are so … “now?”
Plilipp Plein, inspired by the recent tragedies at Shady Hook, perhaps, decides send models down his Milan Runway wearing balaclavas, flak jackets and toting machine guns and teddy bears. To gain attention, to shock, to offend …? Or because it’s fashion? And in fashion, as Fashionista, asks, anything goes?
Milan is far away from Connecticutt. (Another planet, clearly.)
According to a press release, the weapon-wielding models represented “new fashion heros”: “A troop of hot, strong, brave young men. Champions of a true ideal, fight only for real love, and ‘Regret Nothing’, which is also the groove of a new style battle.” … or translated: ” We are extremely stupid. Oh. And insensitive. The end.”
