This, from the site: "This gentleman in his early 50’s (sigh - time flies...), who merrily jumps all over during his trips, like a gigantic frog is Sergey, my best friend. He’s an unique person, I consider myself incredibly lucky for the opportunity I had to meet him, by chance, several years ago. Actually the circumstances would have never appeared as the most favourable for our meeting. He’s Siberian and lives in a remote corner of that immense territory."

It's no wonder, I suppose, hailing from distant Siberia, as he does that he wants to jump for the pure joy of being at those site of cultural interest, somewhere in Europe.)

"Life is actually the art of encounter and it’s also unpredictable. So we have found that we were simply made to be the best friends of this world and all of the other possible worlds.... Due to practical reasons of distance, we can meet each other only once or twice a year. During one of our former holidays together, Sergey, who is a former ice figure skating champion and choreographer, just for fun showed me how to jump… and suddenly the slightly surrealistic idea for this gallery took form, practically by itself. Since then it has become a kind of ritual of friendly complicity, and Sergey has become "The Jumping Traveller."
