THE GAME OF THRONES CAST – IN AND OUT OF CHARACTER.

Aidan Gillen and as Petyr Baelish.

Lena Headey without her wig and as Cersei Lannister.

You could tousle Jack Gleeson's hair. You wouldn't do that to Joffrey.

Rory McCann is Sandor Clegane. As Ny says: " The scar is fake, the long hair is fake. The casual attitude to violence is fake. But the neck beard is 100% legit."

Lily Allen's little brother, Alfie, is Theon Greyjoy.

You know who I think Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is on his off days ...

Yes. Yes. Old joke. (But a good one.)

Carice van Houten (Melisandre) when not birthing horrible black smoke baby things which kill people

Conleth Hill (Lord Varys) ... scary, untrustworthy Eunuch. (No-one is a nice lady who works in the bakery, are they?)

Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) scrubs up well.

Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran Stark)

LOOK how pretty Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) is. Not at all like her character in any other way, she is, 6 ft 4 in real life, however.

Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark) is sort of the same.

Poor, poor Mrs Joffrey-to-be. Sophie Turner has not very much better luck, in real life, enamored as she appears to be with J Bieber, who she (according to NYM) retweets frequently.

We have exclaimed about this disconnect before.

And no John Snow or Imp

I will keep those for another time.

As treats.

Awwwwww! A thousand thank you’s! Couldn’t have come at a better time. I am ridiculously obsessed, toggling between series 1 (the book) and my weekly downloads of series 2.

I absolutely adore Game of Thrones. Love how these characters look in real life. I am struggling not to buy all the books and read ahead. I don’t want to spoil anything – just love how they have made this series
