Ooh er.

These illustrated the ELLE interview where SJP talks about loving the smell of nappies. Perhaps, as I suggested then, she was not in her right mind when she agreed to do them. Or maybe, she was sleep-deprived, not thinking clearly and a bit grumpy?

I fear she was alert enough to understand the rules of the game.

Because if you are a female celeb and if you want media coverage, it’s knickers and bras all the way.

No matter if you are booked for a women’s high fashion glossy, a lads’ mag (Maxim,) or a slightly more upmarket lads’ mag (GQ) ..whether you are someone’s Mommy or a nubile young starlet. Whether your career is on the up and up, whether you can’t get hired, or you are an ACADEMY AWARD WINNER, for GOD’s sake: Off come the clothes and just thank your lucky stars that you don’t have to spread your legs.

So, after all that, what do we think?

Pretty? Not pretty?

Legs. Not looking sooo comfortable.

Body language? Not so happy either?

Is she happier because she has been allowed to wear more clothes? I couldn't say.

Bearing in mind that fashion shots do not generally require models to look very happy, I think she bears a strong resemblance to a rabbit, caught in headlights.

Or maybe she just looks like a post-40 female star, who has realised what she must do to keep on the radar.

Scary thought.
