PENELOPE CRUZ EXPLAINS TRUE SUCCESS. SHE IS PROBABLY RIGHT.

by hurricanevanessa on May 9, 2011

Here's Ms Cruz on the meaning of success: "“When I started, when I was 16 or 17, I never even considered not doing a project. I just wanted to work. I knew who some of those I would work with would be pleasant, and others would be these huge a–holes. But now, if there’s one thing I can afford to do, having worked so hard for all of these years, it’s that if I go into a meeting with someone that is offering me a movie and I can clearly see they are going to be an a–hole, I will not do the movie. No matter what it is.â€

A world free of what she so quaintly calls a-holes.

Wouldn’t that be lovely?

I wouldn’t have thought that she is that successful that she gets to pick and choose her roles. When was the last good movie she was in?
