Pearl Lowe is a singer/songwriter turned fashion designer who is, I think, mostly famous for having Gavin Rossdale’s daughter, Daisy, who is now a successful model.So far, so not very unusual. After all, don’t 90% of rock star spawn turn out to be models? And doesn’t every ex-singer/songwriter/actress/reality starlet/heiress knock out a fashion range, or two, when they’re looking for something to keep them busy, after the hits stop coming?
Not such a wearable ad pretty one, at such a reasonable price point.
This is Lowe’s second range for the high street store, Peacocks, which is known less for their glitzy credentials than for their humble prices – and the frocks are very pretty.
And instead of roping in the services of that mini-harlot, the terrifying Taylor Momsen, Daisy Lowe models for her mama.
Decent price points? Pretty dresses? From rock star offspring and ex-girlfriends?
Unusual.
But rather nice, for a change.
