Remember Karen, from Will and Grace?

Here she is, with her real-life husband, Nick Offerman, one of the stars of Parks and Recreation, BSNASM (which, translated, is, Being Shot Naked As She Must) for NY Magazine.

Her reason? “Neither of us are paragons of physical perfection. That’s why I pitched that nude-photo idea: It’s as if we were Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, but of course we’re not. Yet before we met with you, Nick told me how beautiful I looked in my pajamas in the hotel. I didn’t really, by somebody else’s standards, but it’s very nice to hear that, especially as an actress in Hollywood. Nick has said he would divorce me if I got Botox.”

NY Mag must have been delighted.

Whatever a star’s reason may be for stripping off, the magazine will rub it’s hands together, (“She pitched them naked? She’s done our job for us!”) and it’s readers will get their voyeuristic thrill.

We do, it appears, love to ogle naked women.

However, this time we get a bit more of Nick,  than Karen.

A nice change?
