JEAN-LUC MOERMAN’S TATTOOED FAMOUS PORTRAITS

This from FW: "In his extensive Tattoo on Paper series, Jean-Luc Moerman decorates famous portraits — Renaissance-era religious paintings, Rolling Stone covers photos, 1940s pinups — with these designs, tattooing the skin of subjects that range from Jesus to Kate Moss."

Flavourwire says: "These ink tattoos suggest a strange unity across centuries and art forms, and force us to examine timeless masterpieces anew."

I don't know about that.

I just think it's funny to look at famous images graffitied, or pimped, if you like.

Always fun.

Although I'd have preferred some Chinese take-out items and some dolphins, myself.
