Gucci are longtime Franco Fans, having first, according to The Telegraph, cast the multi-talented star in a commercial, in 2008. He is now the face of All The World's a Stage" shot by Nathaniel Goldberg at the Roman film studio Cinecittà. "All the world's a stage" is Gucci's new made-to-measure range.
The Telegraph report: “Made-to-measure suits will start at £1,900 when the service becomes available in 11 boutiques worldwide by the end of the year. Customers will be able to choose from 178 possible combinations of colours and fabrics, with little extras – like a satin lining or (hmm…) diamante embroidery – on offer too.”
Frida Giannini, Gucci’s creative director, said: “James has an innate ability to fuse classic elegance with contemporary style and interpret formal wear in an individual way.”
In the way of all these creative deals, Franco said: “Of course I wear Gucci all the time. Even in the bath. And especially while stalking around the urban landscape, in gritty black and white, looking cooler than you are. Who wouldn’t? I know it’s not going to happen, but you would if they paid you shitloads for it and it’s a fuck yeah luxe brand anyway. Its not rubbish, you know. C’mon. Don’t be bitter. Everything is easier for me, becuase I am hot and famous. That’s all.”
Oh.
Of course he didn’t.
