HALF MAN HALF DRAG QUEEN. LELAND BOBBE’S TRANSFORMATIONS INTERUPTED

by hurricanevanessa on August 5, 2012

Half-Drag is an ongoing series by New York City-based photographer Leland Bobbé where men’s faces are half made up as their glamorous female alter egos

"My intention with Half-Drag is to capture both the male and the alter-ego female side of these subjects in one image."

Disconcerting, all I can think of is ....

... perfectly plucked eyebrows are a common denominator

As far as eyebrows are concerned ... I'd love to have what they're having.

Covet.

It’s an ongoing project.

You can keep a beautifully eye-bowed eye on it’s progress (and contribute,) here.

I know also a friend who sended me a picture of him half drag and I dind’t knew it was possible and was ( very happily ) amazed. If it was possible I really would like such a picture of me too. After 10 years of isolating relationship I’m finally free again and am eager to restart my drag queen hobby ( I am a feminine gay from Antwerp-Belgium-Europe) allthough I have to begin from scratch again. Thanx! Am I inspired… ;)
