Kate White, the very brilliant editor of US COSMO, once gave a group of COSMO editors a piece of advice about covers that I did not understand: "Make sure it's lickable." I've never wanted to lick any cover, myself, but ...here is Beyonce. with an ice cream. That'll do it.

Hmmmmm, the measure of a great magazine cover is it’s lickability quotient! Nice! Now to find who can do chocolate ice cream flavoured covers! Vanilla will do, at a pinch!
