So here’s an American ad I, for one, find very, very offensive.
Purporting to be an ad for …Christmas? The sponsors ChurchAds.net, had this to say, on their site: “If we Christians really want to keep Christmas focused on Christ, we must constantly re-tell the story of his birth in ways which engage positively with the public’s interest.”
But is it an ad for Christmas? Or an anti-abortion ad?
If it is a stealth anti-abortion ad, it is, like so many of the attempts of the crazier members of the pro-life lobby to gather people around their cause, a bullying and manipulative way to go about doing so.
“Be veeeeerrrry careful unwilling/terrified/desperate pregnant chick, you might be carrying the son of God?”
That’s a low blow, if I ever saw one.
