Jocelyne Grivaud, a french artist, is trying to change the way we see Barbie by incorporating her into various famous works of art. This, you may recognise as a Rene Magritte. (if you did History of Art 101, as I did. Not because I wanted a career at Sotheby's you understand, but because I was a waitress at the Hardrock Cafe, knocked off at 3am, and needed somewhere to nap in the afternoons. HOA101 was at 3pm and in a lecture hall where they switched the lights off and showed slide shows. But I do digress)
And then there are some miscellaneous ones …
I think that that is a perfect HV post: A well-balanced combo of low culture and undergraduate nonsense.

Enjoyed. Barbie is iconic.
There is a interesting discussion about bald Barbie for cancer patients at http://www.globaltoynews.com/2012/01/social-media-gets-bumpy-for-barbie.html#more
That is tres awesome.
If you into some Barbie art, this is a friend who does some weird stuff with Barbies! I like it, and although it is not everyone’s cup of tea, it does reflect a lot of what some people feel in everyday life!
