Here’s the Art-Casso story: “The first Art-casso was done by a golden retriever called Fletcher. “One day, while repainting our living room, Fletcher wouldn’t stop pestering me. He wanted to help of course; he was trying to put his nose in the paint. Finally, I went inside and got a piece of canvas paper and let him try his paw at a masterpiece. I poured out some paint and had him walk through the paint and onto the canvas. Then we spent and hour with the garden hose!”
Fletcher died of a tumour and to honour his memory, his owner, Wendy Diamond kept his framed artwork. It was a piece which gave her much joy over the years.
It also led her to the Art-Casso idea.
