THIS PICTURE ALLEGEDLY REDUCED JENNIFER ANISTON TO TEARS. SIGH.

Would this reduce you to tears?

Would this reduce you to tears?

Entertainmentwise is not the Wall Street Journal (and The National Enquirer is about as far from the WSJ as it is possible to be and still be on paper.)

So perhaps I should take this story with a  pinch of salt, but …a gruesome fact about about celebrities is, this:  true or not, tales just like this, (of misguided celebrity insecurity,) certainly ring true.

It is reported that on seeing this picture (above) that wobbly old lump of lard Ms Aniston broke down and wept because she was so unhappy with the way her body looked.

“Jennifer has always been insecure about the way she looks, but something about these photos set her off,” said a source.

“She obsesses over every inch of her body. Some days she loves it, other days she hates it. And although she looks amazing for a woman of her age, when she saw those photos of herself in Mexico, she said she felt fat and ugly and burst into tears.”

The insider added to US tabloid the National Enquirer: “No matter how hard everyone tried to tell her otherwise, Jennifer simply wouldn’t believe them and kept going on and on about her weight.”

That must have been a fun dinner at Jennifer’s don’t you think?

No matter, that should you google “Jennifer Aniston purple bikini Mexico ” the first page that comes up is bursting with the kind of superlatives, that should reassure even the most insecure creature.

But Aniston …wept.

She is 40. You would think that would be old enough to know that misplaced insecurity, repetitiveness and self-absorption are a lot less attractive that the gorgeous body she has.
